WRITTEN EXAM: HOPE, JEAN, YENISBEL, MARK, TRINA, SHENARD, CAMILLE, ALICIA.

THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE WILL DO THE WRITTEN EXAM:
HOPE, JEAN, YENISBEL, MARK, TRINA, SHENARD, CAMILLE, ALICIA.
Your final is based on a critique of the yearbook you created. Please write on a sheet of paper and turn in.
Part I: Choose four spreads or sections to critique. For each, discuss the following, including what you like and dislike for each point.
a. Concept – How do you feel about the idea for this spread or section? Could the topic have been approached and presented differently?
b. Design – What are your favorite design elements on the spread? Are there errors or awkward places in the layout?
c. Content – Do the photos and the text accurately portray the topic? Do you feel that the reader gets all of the information they would want when looking at the page?
d. Spelling and grammar - Are titles on the page and people’s names spelled correctly? Are proper grammar and spelling used in the captions and body copy?
Part II:
1. What are your favorite parts of the yearbook, and what parts do you think are important to repeat in next year’s book?
2. What things were not covered enough or at all? How can we improve coverage for next year?
3. What could you have done differently this year that would have made this book better?
4. What advice would you give to an incoming yearbook staff member?
